Alright, even though we post an update about tvb series being down almost a week ago to various social networks, many people still contacting us about this problem. Apparently not everyone is using those services, or even bother clicking on those links to see the updates, so we’re stating it here … again.
The problem is only relating to new tvb series on OD only. (You can thanks tvb international for that.) Older videos, and those on OP are unaffected … at least, for now.
Again, videos are posted by volunteers and fans. It’s up to them to determine what and when to update. Our staffs will only help out when we have some time. So if you want videos to be updated faster, please consider helping them out. If not, please be patient and check the status updates. Those videos will be updated in due time.
Update: Most new tvb series are fixed. The rest will updated in time.

We noticed that the majority of our videos are currently only playing for a few minutes, we are in the process of investigating the problem and will keep you posted.
Update (1/16/2009): We’ve been working on the problem for the last 2 days. Unfortunately, since the temperature has dipped to single digit, most of our staffs were caught under the weather and therefore, progress has been slow. Stay tuned for more updates.
Update (1/18/2009): The first 10 (most recent) New Release videos for OP are updated. The videos should be playing at full length now.
Update (1/19/2009): The next 10 video series of New Release for OP had been updated.
Update (1/20/2009): ALL VIDEOS ARE PLAYING AT FULL LENGTH NOW!!!
It’s been almost a week since the problem started and we’ve been working nonstop to get it working. Anyway, let us know if you still have any problem with the videos cutting short. To uploaders: you can resume updating the videos now. Let’s cross our fingers that the thing won’t break any time soon.
Update (1/28/2009): We’ve made some updates to the system, and now 11,000+ links that were not showing since last month are working again. These are mostly older series such as Tây Thi (http://www.onlinephim.net/308.vid), Khách Sạn (http://www.onlinephim.net/1190.vid), and Destiny of Love/Tokyo Wankei (http://www.onlinedrama.net/788.vid).

Well, you probably noticed that our site went down yesterday. It started at around 4am EST (don’t ask why I was still up 
) a system wide upgrade was implemented. After a quick restart, the changes took affect, which … you guess it … breaks the sites. On top of that, the host was having network issue. Anyway, we went to work on it right away, and sites are backed up around 14hours later. There went our weekend. Since we did lots of recoding to make the sites work with the new backend, if you see any error message, please let us know.
Update 11/24/08: Because of a malfunction, most of the videos are not working at the moment. Stay tuned for more updates.
If you guys keep hammering the server like this, we might need a new server soon. Not that we can afford another one now. So, we might need to cut down on user connections. We’ll see …

Update 11/26/2008 @ 2AM EST: THE VIDEOS ARE BACK UP!!!
Well, we have been working on the problem for a long time now. The majority of the videos should be working now. Some series will still needed to be updated here and there, but the recently added ones should work. Next time, please read the blog before flooding our inbox with tons of message about the same problem. We’re always try to be nice and answer all inquiries, but it does get tiresome after 10 emails or so. Anyway, it’s passed 2am now and I can barely keep my eyes open anymore. For the night owls, and people from other timezones, enjoy your videos.
