The cool down ..

With the introduction of the tag cloud, we are finally reaching the point where the site can be called “feature complete” (for now). We are now entering the first maintenance phrase. Basically it means that we have added all the features that we wanted. The next step is trying to fix all the bugs and little annoyances that have come along. You probably won’t notice any difference in term of functionality or look & feel of the site, since most of the work will be the back-end of the system.

I’ve decided to abandon the online TV addon for the site because it’s not feasible in term of compatibilities with Firefox and other browsers. I might pick this up later on if I can find a technology that can do it the way I wanted to do. There are some other sites that starting to offer this, but the way they do it is old fashioned, that it’s not so inspiring for me to create another site. Of course, if that is what you want, you can always go there and check them out.

Plans are also in the work for new projects and revamping of LotusZero. Of course, it’s too early to tell what the final products will look like, but with any luck, we can have some pre-beta stuffs in about a month. So, what all this mean? Well, it basically mean that our staffs will be as busy as ever and therefore the first-class support that you guys have been experiencing will slowly stop? “Stop? Are you serious?” Yes I am. You can’t really expect people to always be on hand to help if you never help anyone right? In this next stage, support are mostly provided by volunteered supplemental staffs, and primary staffs (when we have time). So, if you don’t see any immediate response to your inquiries, you’ll understand why.

Also, to help you get the most out of the site. We are also creating some tutorials that will be added soon. So, keep your eyes peeled.
